HIS GOOD PLEASURE

"Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself" (Eph. 1:9).

Grace and peace comes from knowing God as Father through His Sonthe Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:2).  Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Eph. 1:3).  This is why our Father chose us to be in Christ before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4).  Our Father's will is that we would choose to become His adopted sons by and through Jesus Christ, according to His good pleasure (Eph. 1:5).  Our Father worked His eternal plan to have us Spirit birthed into Christ, with Christ placed in us for life and expression (I Cor. 12:13; I Jn. 5:11-12; Gal. 2:20).  Our Father placed us in Christ for our eternal position and fellowship with Him.  Christ was placed in us for our temporal expression of His love-for-others Spirit and life.  We have fellowship with one another in the Body of Christ through the Christ-life in us (I Jn. 5:1).

Our Father has accepted us in His Beloved Son, through the glorious grace of His finished work on the cross (Eph. 1:6).  Our Father has granted redemption and forgiveness of sins through His shed blood and grace which He did through Jesus Christ, His Son (Acts 20:28; Eph. 1:6; II Cor. 5:19).  Our Father has made these things "abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence" (Eph. 1:8).  Our Father sent the Holy Spirit to make the mystery of His will known to us, according to His good pleasure (Eph. 1:9).  According to His good pleasure, our Father purposed to unfold His eternal plan in Himself to us (Eph. 3:9-10). Our Father has chosen in the fullness of all dispensations to gather in one all things in Christ (Eph. 1:10).

Our Father desires to have a full fellowship with us through the relationship of His Son in us since our Spirit birthing (Matt. 11:27; I John 1:3). Genuine fellowship with our Father, leads us to walk in light and purity as He is genuine light and purity.  This fellowship will simultaneously flow to one another, as He is ever cleansing us from all sin ( I John 5:7).  Paul said, "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Phil. 2:13).  Our Father desires us to be saved and become His birthed son, according to His good pleasure.  Our Father desires us to know all about the reality of this truth, according to His good pleasure.  Our Father desires Christ to live in and through us as us in this shared life (Gal. 2:20), according to His good pleasure!
