REVELATION

"But as it written: 'Eye has not seen, nor  ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God" (I Cor. 2:9-10).

Consider God's eternal plan and will for the Church.  Why hasn't it moved forward any more than it has?  Why do many Christians live defeated lives?  I think it boils down to several areas.  One of them is the area of revelation.  There is revelation lacking in the Church today in one main and strategic area.  Please do not misunderstand.  We are not presenting or discussing any new revelation to the Church.  This is simply discussion on the revelation that the apostle Paul received, and is shared throughout his epistles as an integral part of the teaching of the Word of God.

Paul was called as Saul by Jesus on the Road to Damascus for the express intent to receive a revelation of Christ in him as him.  This was Paul's calling as an apostle to warn and teach every man in all wisdom about being in Christ Jesus (Col. 1:28).  He shared that the Father wills to make known to the Church concerning, "Christ in you the hope of glory" (Col. 1:27).   Paul goes onto say that the knowledge of this mystery was not made known to the sons of men in other ages, "but it has  now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets" (Eph. 3:5).  Paul declared  that the unsearchable riches of Christ, was given to him by the grace of God, to make all men see the fellowship of this mystery of this shared life with Christ in us (Eph. 3:8-9).  This  is our Father's eternal purpose that is to be revealed in Christ (Eph. 3:11).

The natural eye has not at intervals seen these things.  The natural ear has never once then heard of these things.   In the natural, our heart or our mind cannot discover or locate this revelation on its own. Our Father has prepared this revelation for those that continually love Him (I Cor. 2:9).  Our Father has sent the Holy Spirit to reveal these things to those who love Him.  The Father will grant these a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Himself and the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:17).  On September 17,1974, nearly 29 years ago the Father did that for me.  I have been called and radically changed to cause all men to see the mystery of Christ in them as them, in this shared life in Christ. This revelation is the heart of Paul's gospel to establish the Church (Rom 16:25)!   V
