BOLDNESS

"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus" (Hebr. 10:19).

With the Old Testament priesthood, a single High Priest could enter into the holiest with a blood sacrifice to be offered on the mercy seat for his and all the people's sins (Hebr. 9:7).  Christ with His own blood has entered the Most Holy Place once for all and obtained an eternal redemption for us.  The blood of Christ through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God (Hebr. 9:14).  This made Christ the author and completer of eternal salvation, to all those who will simply believe in Him (Hebr. 5:9).  Now Christ lives as the Mediator in all right and authority in heaven to be a living intercessor for us, that we might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance in Him (Hebr. 9:15).  It was the will of the Father that we be sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all (Hebr. 10:10).  By this one offering Christ has perfected forever those who are being sanctified (Hebr. 10:14).  When we are Spirit birthed by the Holy Spirit, through simply believing the incorruptible Seed – the eternal word of God, we are passed from death unto life (Rom. 10:9-10; I Pet. 1:23; John 5:24).  That incorruptible Seed is Christ.  In Christ, we received the fullness of His Person, Spirit, nature and eternal life (Col. 2:9).  We are complete in Christ (Col. 2:10).

Through the complete sacrifice of His Son, and the Spirit birthing, we now can have boldness to enter into a direct relationship and fellowship with our Heavenly Father (Hebr. 10:19).  Through Christ Jesus our Lord, now living in us by faith, we have boldness and access with our Heavenly Father with genuine confidence (Eph. 3:12).  The fear of the Lord and abiding in His love will produce great boldness and joy in our lives despite all outward circumstances and situations that we might face (II Cor. 7:1-5).  During Paul's imprisonment he could with all boldness declare that "Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.  For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:20-21).  Knowing and living by the truth that Christ lives in you, in every circumstance you face, that no matter what happens you, that you still have a secure relationship with your Heavenly Father.  This reality of Christ in you produces boldness in you.

Day-by-day we let Christ live in and through us for others.  Abiding in His love and seeing that love flow perfected in us, builds boldness in us.  In the day of judgment, we will have boldness, because we have seen the Christ-life manifested in and through us since our Spirit birthing.  We are able to stand before our Father, in the boldness of Christ in us!
