OUR FATHER NEVER LEAVES US

"For He has said, I will never leave you or forsake you " (Hebr. 13:5b).

We have the definite promise of Almighty God with His own word, that He will never leave us or forsake us.  One of the important things to know the sure character of our Heavenly Father.  David thanks God, "For Your lovingkindness and Your truth: For You have magnified Your word above all Your name" (Psa. 138:2b).  We know that our Heavenly Father is full of love, kindness, and truth toward us.  His Son the living Word was crucified in our behalf, so that we could have a full birthed son relationship and loving fellowship with our Heavenly Father.  Our Father has magnified His Son above all in the universe.  The Holy Spirit has birthed the fullness of that magnified Son in us at the Spirit rebirthing. Our Father now sees His Son, His magnified Son in us as our life, our only life.  David saw the mercy of God toward mankind, when at the conclusion of every one of the 26 verses of Psalm 136, he concludes with the resounding declaration, "For His mercy endures forever" (Psalm 136:1b-26b).

Another characteristic of God, is that he does not change.  Malachi quotes His own word that states, "For I am the Lord, I do not change" (Mal. 3:6).  According to God's own Word, He states that he will never leave or forsake us, and that we can trust Him because He does not change His mind, His character, or His will on these things.  Our Heavenly Father is full of love, grace, and mercy toward us in every respect.  We are secure in Him, through the Spirit birthing of His magnified Son now fully resident within us.  We have His eternal life and and eternal relationship with our Heavenly Father through Him.  The Son is ever in us, to fulfill the Father's will through us, and to reveal the fulness of the Father to us (Matt. 11:27).

We have an Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent God, who intently loves us.  He loved us so much, that He FIRST chose us to be in Christ "before the foundation of the world" (Eph. 1:4), that there would not be a way possible for Him to ever forsake or leave us.  Our Heavenly Father desired to have a full and rich, eternal relationship with us. Our Heavenly Father could not hardly wait until the moment that faith came when we heard "the Word of Christ" (Rom. 10:17 - Greek text: "the Rhema Word of Christ"), and we believed on the Father and the Son and were saved.  We believe that the Son was our sin sacrifice forever, and that the Father was completely satisfied with His sacrificial death by raising Him from the dead (Rom. 10:9-10).  Our Heavenly Father in His own mind and heart, first saw His Son crucified fully in eternity past (Rev. 13:8).  When Jesus took the cup in Gethsemene, we were there too.  Adam, us, and the sin and sins of all of mankind, were given to Jesus to bear on the cross. (I Pet. 1:20).  When Jesus died there, we died in Him (Rom. 6:6). Our Father never left nor forsook us there either.  The sky might have been darkened with storm, for our Father wanted all to know the importance of this event. Jesus bearing total sin, was certainly separated from fellowship with the Father, as cried out in agony to God for a season.  However, according to our Father's own word, He never left us nor forsook us, even Jesus on the cross.  Our Father doesn't change.  His mercy endures forever.  Even when our sin has broken our fellowship with Him, Our Father will never leave or forsake us!
