HIS LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS

"But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled  to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of  God, should shine on them"  (II Cor. 4:3-4).

We were walking in darkness or absolute darkening impurity before we were saved. Satan the god of this age had blinded our minds so that we could not see the light of the true and living God.  Satan's greatest deceptions are in the area of mind-blinding activities.  When the Holy Spirit coupled the gospel to our unregenerate minds, we were able to see the light of the true and living God for the first time with His help.  When we simply believed in our heart and confessed with our mouth the Lord Jesus we were Spirit birthed into Body of Christ (Rom. 10:9-10; I Cor. 12:13).  Our Father has now made us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light (Col. 1:12).  Our Father has once then delivered us out of the authority of darkening impurity and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Col. 1:13).

While we received all of the Father's inheritance with all of Christ placed in us at the Spirit birthing.  We still have the same old soul – mind, emotions, and will.  The Holy Spirit has to now transform or renew our minds.  We must be available for him to do this.  We cannot do it on our own no matter how much we would try.  Your mind renewal is in also in the timing of the Father, just as your salvation.  The Lord gave me a strong word that has been a tremendous help to me.  The Spirit said, "During this sovereign move of My Spirit, nothing is impossible.  Simply have faith, totally yield, and carefully obey, and nothing is impossible"!  I realize that is not easy, but with His help this is not impossible. The Father wants us to do our part to be available to Him for this transformation process.

Our Father's timing is important.  However, if we will walk in all the light that He has given us, He will give us more light.  Let us not sin against the light given us.  Our Father is training His sons.  He is conforming us to the image of His Son (Rom. 8:29).   His Son is the Person of Light – the Person of illuminating purity. Our Father wants to bring His light out of darkness, by bringing Christthe light in us out of these vessels of clay!
