WALKING IN THE LIGHT

"This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.  If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin"  (I John 1:5-7).

When we were Spirit birthed, we came to the message of light.  The Father and the Son are the light and the source of absolute purity.  The Spirit birthing placed us into the Body of Christ with all of Christ in us fully and complete in the Spirit.  We now have a relationship with our Heavenly Father through His Son in us.  The next key is fellowship.  John says that "truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ" (I John 1:3).  The Holy Spirit now becomes our teacher, to transform or renew our mind to the Christ who now lives within us.  As we have been used to walking in darkness, or darkening impurity, now being a new creature in Christ Jesus is a whole new way of life.  Instead of living a self-for-self life, we now in the light and absolute purity of the Christ-Spirit, live a self-for-others life.

You can be assured that the Holy Spirit is teaching and leading us to walk in the way of the light or absolute purity.  We have to make the loving choices, for God never takes that  ability away from man.  We can choose to walk in love and fellowship with God and others, or we can choose to walk in selfishness and separation from the fellowship with God and others.  If God has given us light to walk in, and we see it, and know it and refuse to walk in that light, we commit the sin against light.  God may very well cut off additional light to us, until we choose to fellowship and walk in the light that He has already given us.  When we walk in the light or the radiance that He has given us, and let Him live in and through us in His self-for-others Spirit; we will have His fellowship with one another, and His blood through the finished work of the cross is appropriated to continually cleanse us from all sin.
